Classrooms

The classroom facilities are excellent, featuring ample space and comfortable furniture to accommodate over 120 students. Each classroom is equipped with an overhead projector and other audio-visual aids, as well as internet access, to facilitate effective teaching practices.

Laboratory 

The college boasts well-equipped and modern laboratories for each of the practical subjects, which meet all the university’s requirements. The students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and proficiency in both clinical and non-clinical practical subjects. 

The Anatomy Dissection laboratory, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, and Microbiology composite laboratory, and Nutrition Laboratory are the most prominent of all the laboratories available. Each laboratory is equipped with advanced and up-to-date instruments, tools, and equipment, and these are upgraded annually to ensure the students have access to the latest technology. 

Library 

The library of the college is fully equipped with a vast collection of books, magazines, and journals. Students can access the internet in the library which facilitates them in their research, preparation, and presentations. The college places great emphasis on subscribing to online research journals in order to develop the student’s research skills. 

Hostels

The in-campus accommodation provided by the college is clean, secure, and safe, with separate well-furnished hostels for boys and girls. The hostel is located in a beautiful and peaceful area, making it feel like a home away from home for students. The hostel is a modernized version of traditional values that makes it an exceptional place for parents to ensure the safety and security of their children. 

Recreation 

Throughout the year, students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities such as cultural and sports events. They take part in various exhibitions, competitions, and games. Additionally, organic farming is made part of your recreational activities. At the end of the year, the college organizes an annual sports and cultural meet, which serves as a curtain raiser for the Graduation and College Day event, where the Souvenir is released. 

Herbal Garden 

JSSINYS has a beautiful herbal garden located on the college premises. The garden houses a wide range of herbs that are known for their medicinal properties. Students can visit the greenhouse to learn about the physical characteristics of these herbs and how they can be used for medicinal purposes. The herbs are grown with great care and are of high quality. 

Students are also trained to incorporate these herbs into a patient’s diet, as prescribed by the hospital. Additionally, the garden provides a space for students to work on their herbarium project as part of their curriculum. 

Here are some of the additional facilities available on campus:

• A gym with equipment for cardio and strength workouts, to promote healthy habits.
• A big, well-lit room for practicing yoga and a separate prayer room.
• The JSS Nature Cure Hospital and Yoga Teaching Hospital are both located on campus. Together, they have 150 beds and a team of male and female doctors who can help with all kinds of medical issues.
• If you need transportation, the college has buses available for students whenever you need them.
• For your safety, there are security guards on campus 24/7 to make sure everything is okay.
