Established in 1989 by SDM Educational Society, Ujire, India’s first College of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, SDM College of Naturopathy Ujire has been at the forefront of providing quality education. Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognized by both the Government of Karnataka and the Government of India, the college offers a complete 5½-year BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) Degree Course. With an annual intake capacity of 120 students, the college attracts aspiring learners from 29 states within India and four countries worldwide.
The institute has collaborated with the Government of Karnataka and the Government of India to establish 10 outpatient units (OPD) in the existing Taluka Government Hospitals of 10 districts in Karnataka. These units provide you with an invaluable opportunity to gain practical experience by actively participating in patient care within a real healthcare setting.
The college takes pride in nurturing its students, and over the years, it has produced more than 1400 skilled doctors who have successfully completed their education in 26 batches. These graduates have gone on to establish themselves professionally, both in India and abroad.
Setting another milestone, the college also offers postgraduate courses (M.D) in three disciplines, as well as Doctoral Courses in Naturopathy and Yoga, marking a significant achievement for the country.
