Direct Admision Procedure in Jain University

As Jain University offer UG and PG courses in multiple streams, the admission process may differ from course to course. However, the procedure for direct admission remains the same. It would be best if you went through us, and we will take it forward from them.

You may feel that certain courses do not require direct admission as the process has no competitive exam or counseling procedures. At the end of the day, the choice will be yours. You should weigh the pros & cons wisely!

Step #1 – Fill out the Application Form
To kickstart your admission process, you need to complete the college application. You can apply online or visit the college and complete the form in person. The form usually requires your details and 10th and 12th academic marks.
Step #2 – Pay the Registration Fee
The college will charge you a certain amount for registration, ranging from Rs. 500 to Rs. 6000, depending on the course.
Step #3 – Document Verification
Remember that you must submit your government documents and certificates for verification, which will be then returned to you shortly by the college. The college ensures the authenticity and genuineness of your documents by using data from government websites.
Step #4 – College Visit
When you go for document verification, you will have the time to meet the college staff and other members who can clear your doubts and guide you in future endeavors.
Step #5 – Interview
The authorities might ask you for an interview to get to know you better. These interviews usually focus on your senior-year accomplishments in high school.
Step #6 – Pay the Fees
After the interview or meeting session, you must pay a deposit to reserve your seat. There may be a full or partial first-year tuition fee that you will have to pay.
Step #7 – Get your Allotment Letter
Immediately after you pay, a receipt and an official admission letter will arrive in your mail, sealing the deal. You can speed up the process by requesting necessary paperwork during this stage if you plan to finance your education with a student loan.

The above admission process applies for all the courses but might need more points depending on different courses. If you want to know the admission process for a particular course, you can contact me!

Eligibility Criteria

When you speak about Jain University, the university offers dozens of courses. For popular courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA, the drill is to qualify for an entrance exam to fit the eligibility criteria. But again, qualification does not count for direct admission, making it a better choice.

Moreover, Jain has an entrance test known as the Jain Entrance Test. Even though Jain University requires applicants to take JET for certain courses, there’s still a way for you to secure a spot without it. As long as you meet the basic eligibility criteria, you can bypass the test and make your way to your dream university in no time. It’s like a secret route to Jain University!

I will divide the eligibility criteria into UG and PG, and these criteria are only about direct admission. Hence, do not take this as the conventional eligibility criteria and go for admission; you will be disappointed!

QualificationClear the 10+2 or Higher Secondary Certificate Examination under the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) or a similar examination equivalent to the ISC board.

Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate (PG) Courses:

GeneralYou have to fill out the application form and submit it before the due date.
AcademicsYou must have scored at least 50% average aggregate on your Bachelor’s Degree after studying it in the traditional 10+2+3 year system.
